History:

At Jahnsdorf/Erzgebirge near Chemnitz the Jahnschanze was opened with an inaugurational jump of Otto Schudert on 1931-01-18. Before the construction of the 35 meter ski jumping hill had only taken from August to December 1930. But already with the Nazis coming into power the ski jump was abandoned and is hardly recognizable today.
