History:

The construction of Turnerschanze at Hammerleubsdorfer Straße in the lower town of Gahlenz had started in 1956 and finally it was inaugurated on 1958-01-26. After a flood damage the K25 and K10 with their steel-made inrun tower were renovated in 1971.
The destruction of the hill took place in 2002, after the landing hill had been washed out again.
