History:

At Borna, a district in the north of Chemnitz, the Turnerschanze at Bornaer Höhe (today called Röhrsdorfer Höhe) was opened on even the third attempt with and inaugurational jump of Max Neumann from Glösa on 1931-01-18 attended by 600 spectators. During World War II the wooden inrun was destroyed, but afterwards the ski jump was revived for a short time by some youngsters in 1950’s.
