History:
Zorger Sprungschanze was used until the late 1960's, before a camping area was installed at the place of the outrun. Still, the landing slope was used for tobogganing for a couple of years.

Skispringen auf der Zorger Schanze 1952
Ich, Hartmut Ehrt geb. 1939 nahm 1952 am Skispringen auf der Zorger Schanze teil und belegte in der Kat. Schüler den 1.Platz mit Weiten von 19.0 und 19.5m.Sieger wurde Georg Weichert mit 28m. Als Buben sprangen wir im Training ca. 25m (mit Holzner Abfahrtsski aus Holz) weit.Im Frühjahr 1952 verlies ich die Zorger Schule und damit war es vorbei mit dem Skispringen im Harz.Im Taunus versuchte ich es etwa 10 Jahre später nochmals auf der alten Weiltalschanze.
