History:

Founded in 1911, Skiclub Wetzlar built its first ski lodge in 1936 below the 605 m high "Knoten" in Arborn near Greifenstein in the Westerwald. After II World War, the members of the club, with the help of French pioneers who had provided earthmoving equipment, set up a ski jumping hill in 1951. The ski jump was only used for a few years and no further information is known.
