History:

Already since 1925 there has been Winterhalderschanze, now a K88, in Degenfeld near Schwäbisch Gmünd.
For training, the plastic covered 43 meter Kaltefeldschanze was opened in 1990 and two years later the K15 hill was completed as well. Since Degenfeld has been a training base of Swabian Ski Federation.
Ther ceramics inrun track of K15 was replaced by a steel track with ceramic knobs in 2011.
Already in 2003 the SC Degenfeld applied for a construction permit for a new 75 meter hill beside existing plastic covered jumps. Believe it or not, but planning and financing of the new matting hill took 9.5 years, so finally the first dig could be made in end of April 2013. The 1.3 million Euro expensive ski jump should have been completed by fall 2014 to support the successful youth development of SC Degenfeld, but also the construction process was delayed. Finally, the new Kaltefeldschanze was completed in 2017 and its inauguration celebrated with the opening jump by Olympic champion and local hero Carina Vogt in end of June 2017.

Correct hill record

Hello,
can you please put the hill record men on 81.5m of Fabian Østvold ans Tim Fuchs (Men class).
Nick Schönfeld has the longest jump but he started in the studentclass (Deutscher Schülercup).
