History:

The Schanze im Langen Grund is the most unknown ski jumping facility in Bad Urach. Not even its exact size is confirmed. Only the judges' tower, the take-off and the deformed landing slope are proofs for its existence. During the exploration of the ski jump in July 2024, parts of a stone take-off were discovered not far from K35, as well as traces of an inrun of an even older facility, the landing hill of which descended slightly across the slope. Evidence of a smaller K14 ski jump can also be seen, which functioned next to it by means of a mounded take-off and was probably an attraction for the youngest ski jumping enthusiasts.
