History:

The first ski jump of Berlin stood in the 1920’s from 1924 to 1931 in Zehlendorf and was called “Schanze an Onkel Toms Hütte”. The last record there was set up by Helmut Tornows with 14 m in 1930.

Es gibt mindestens ein andere Foto von der Sprungschanze,
gezeigt hier ist der Rodelberg, der Start.

Die Sprunschanze stand ober des Auslaufs der Rodelbahn,
auf dem höher gelegenen Plateau. Man in Richtug Onkel-Toms-
Str. (Spandauer Damm).
