History:

In 1938/1939 there was a winter exhibition in the Earls Court Convention Center in London called "The Winter Cavalcade". The highlight was a ski jumping hill, for which a 30-meter high wooden structure was built. In December 1938, the Norwegians Sverre Kolterud and Johan Kolterud participated in a show competition there. Later, a university duel between Oxford and Cambridge was also jumped out there.
