The opening of the Tremplin Olympique at Les Launes took place on 1937-02-21. Norway’s Rolf Kaarby jumped the first hill record with 56 m. There further international competitions took place and the ski jump was further enlarged. In 1990’s ski jumping at Beuil was declining and so both Euro Cup competitions (today COC) on March 9 and 10, 1996 were the larger event on this ski jumping hill. Didier Mollard, who won both competitions, set up the last hill record with 92.5 m at this occasion.
