At Le Mont-Dore in French Massif Central there had been a first ski jumping hill from 1930's on. After World War II, around 1970, the ski jumping facility at the slope "Les Pradets" became one of the first plastic covered hills of France. Until end of 1970's junior competitions with international participants, for example from Germany, were held in summer. Nowadays all remains of the former plastic covered hills have disappeared.
