History:

Since there is no active ski club at Imatra anymore, which cares fort he ski jumping hill, the about 20 km away located ski club Joutsenon Kullervo took over this facility. The large hill of Joutseno has been old-fashioned and dilapidated since end 1990’s and so they took the chance and have been using Mellonmäki K50 ski jump. In 2001 the wood of the inrun tower has been renewed and in 2006 a stainless steel inrun trail was been installed. The planned plastic covering had to be delayed due to problems with the financing by the very small club.
