History:

The small ski jump at Dyrehaven located in Fladbro Skov (Fladbro Forest) in Randers was built in 1946 thanks to 3000 Danish krones donation received from city council by Randers Skiløberforening. Since the hill was not very steep there, it didn't allow athletes to jump far - unless the inrun of this natural ski jump had been quite long - and thus distances were around 8 metres. It was intended to make it an easy one and ski jump got some popularity among local amateur skiers who came to Fladbro Skov where also a 7.5 km cross-country track was operating this time. However, the hill later lost its popularity and ski jumping disapperead from Randers (as well as from other places in Denmark). Remains of former small natural ski jumps are still in really good shape.
