History:

Nový Hrozenkov used to have several ski jumps. The "Vranči" hill, was the first of these. It was all-natural and, despite World War II, used until 1945. The main protagonists here were Petr Michálek and Svatopluk Ország. After the war, there were no ski jumping activities going on in the village. So a new era started in 1950.
The first hill which was built after the war was called "Na Čubově" and had a critical point of 35 metes. It was an all-natural ski jump and used until 1960. In the early 1950's, the "V jamce" ("In the hole") ski jump was in operation. It allowed jumps up to 38 meters and existed until about 1960. Another K40, also all-natural hill, called "U Trojúhelníkové" ("Under the triangle mountain"), was built in 1952 and used also until 1960.
