History:

The first ski jump at Turnov was set up at Zrcadlov hill near Dolánky by local ski jumpers in 1920 and allowed jumps up to 25 meters long.
After World War II it was attempted to build up a larger ski jumping hill at the same location. But it failed due to the elaborate blastings that would have been necessary on the rocky slope, which couldn't be financed by the club.
Finally in 1953 it was possible to reconstruct a new 25 meter hill after great efforts. Unfortunately this jump had only been used for a few years, so passionate ski jumpers from Turnov later had to move to nearby Kopanina for ski jumping.
