History:

It is not verified when exactly the hill in Mukařov has been built, but it surely was before World War II, since the first photo is from 1938. The ski jump had a wooden inrun tower, which was three meters high and 20 meters long. The landing hill was crossed by a small river stream and they had to put branches over it so it could be covered with snow. Following that, the jumpers passed over the stream, where they had to put some effort to go up the counterslope.
Annually, the Ještěd Sokol County Cup took place. Usually, the longest distances were around 30 meters. After an incident in 1956, the damages were repaired and the hill was used again in 1957. But afterwards, it has not been used anymore and decayed to what it is now. In contrast to the tower of which only a very few parts left, the landing slope is still visible and accessable today.
