History:

In 2009 Harbin was host of the Winter Universiade and then especially the sports events on snow took place at the Yabuli Ski Resort 190 km north of the metropole city. During these games, the 1989 built K90 ski jumping hill, which is situated on over 1300 m altitude, was used for the competitions in ski jumping and Nordic Combined. Additionally, in August 2006 the construction of a K125 ski jumping hill started and was completed in October 2008. Already in November 2007, the modernizations of existing K90 were finished. A new cableway for the jumpers and a new judges tower were constructed, too.
With regard to the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing, the K90 hill was modernized from September 2018 to 2019. It was covered with new plastic mattings as well as equipped with a Mana TopSpeed inrun track, and presumably also the hill profile was adjusted as HS 98. Most likely around the same time, a small junior hill was added close to Lingzhi Lake in Yabuli Ski Resort.

Bonjour
