History:

Schlossbergschanze was built at the foot of 2023 m high Hochstein in Lienz and inaugurated in 1937. The frist chair lift on today's slalom World Cup slope was installed in 1953. From 1955-1965 there was also the Dolomitenschanze in Amlach, on which SC Lienz also organized Austrian Championships.
