History:

The ski jumping hill in Karrösten, which was built by ski instructor Franz Stricker for the winter sports club and also named after him, was inaugurated on January 29, 1933. The winner of the opening competition was Josef Donnemüller from Tarrenz with a record distance of 55 meters. The Stricker-Schanze was probably only used until World War II.
