History:
The Hopfgarten Ski Club was founded on 26th of January 1924 in the Gasthof Zur Post and originated from the former ski team of the Hopfgarten Gymnastics Club. It initially consisted of 25 members who worked diligently to realise ambitious plans. In less than eight months, the club's own ski hut was built, followed by the Stegner ski jump. This was inaugurated on 19th of March 1925 with an opening competition, which was also attended by jumpers from outside the club. Unfortunately, nothing more is known about it.
