History:

At Hollenstein an der Ybbs there was a ski jumping hill during 1930s, which was mostly used by local ski jumpers. The ski jump was situated above today's tennis courts. In the inrun, shortly before the take-off, the jumpers had to cross a road and the landing slope was very flat. The longest jumps there were performed by Engl Dröscher and Ernst Hampölz. With the outbreak of World War II ski jumping activities ended.
