The
first ski jumping hill at Česká Kamenice was constructed as a K40 in 1954, whereby Jaroslav Egermajer was the main
person in charge. But there in the end only three competitions were hosted.
At
the other end of the town the new-construction of a ski jump designed by Miroslav Bělonožník started
in early 1960’s and then between 1962 and 1967 six competitions could be
organized on this jumping hill.
