History:
The first ski jumping hill at the town district Le Praz of Courchevel was already set up in early 1930s. In 1944 a further temporary ski jump was set up at the location of today's facility. Further ski jumping hills also existed at Courchevel 1850.
Then K120 and K90 hills were constructed for the 1992 Olympic Winter Games at Albertville. Construction works started in 1989 and 30,000 m³ of soil and stone had to be moved in order to dig the ski jumps into the hill to protect them from winds. Up to 200 workers were employed on the site at a time and total construction cost was close to 20 million Euros - a more than double of the original budget. At the 1992 Olympic Games, Toni Nieminen won the large hill and Ernst Vettori the normal hill competition, Finland was successful in the team competition.
Since then the ski jumps have been mainly used for Summer Grand Prix and COC events, as well as for whole year training camps. In 2004 a K60 training ski jump was added on the slope of the normal hill for around 1m Euros.
As a replacement for the abandoned ski jump at the ice arena at Courchevel 1850 in 2007/08 a small plastic covered K25 ski jump, called Ninoufbakken, was set up next to the other jumps at Le Praz.
Since the certificate of both ski jumps expired in 2011, it was decided to modernize them. Already in May 2011, the renewing of inrun and start gates of K90 had started. Until August 2011 the inrun track was replaced by a modern SKI-LINE system. After the Grand Prix events on August 11 and 12, 2011, the of K120 inrun was equipped with a ceramic track made by Porsgrund. Until spring 2012, the plastic mattings were replaced and a new watering system was installed. Additionally, a "Nordic House" was constructed. It includes a sports hall, a fitness center, a spectator terrace for 200 people, as well as rooms for the organizing committee (OC) and the accomodation of athletes. The total cost for modernization and extension was around 1.5m Euros.

Courchevel has about 20,000 inhabitants and is a winter sports centre in the French region Rhône-Alpes which is just 30 km away from the Italian border.
The highest mountains in the area of Courchevel, which is located in Savoye region, are Grande Casse at 3861 m and Aiguille de la Vanoise. The mountain range around the town is considered part of the national park "Parc national de la Vanoise".
A curiosity about the city is that it isn’t concentrated at one place, but consists of many small villages. Courchevel has a small airport which built directly at a hill and has the steepest landing track of the world!

durring 2017 sgp the hill data according to fis was k 125 and hs 135 was there a reconstruction that i missed?
New ladies record - Lucile Morat 98 m
http://www1.ffs.fr/site/resultats/resultats3.php?act2=SAUT&epr=40343
Please add another hill record. It's 127,5 m by Tommy Ingebrigtsen (NOR) on 17.12.1993. He improved Toni Nieminen's HR of 127,0 m. But I have no idea if it was during the training of quali session.
Rekordy skoczni
Nie rozumiem o co w ogóle ta cała dyskusja. Sprawa jest oczywista. Lista rekordów wpisana na stronę jest jak najbardziej prawidłowa. I nie ma co więcej dyskutować. @Marco źle podchodzi do kwestii rekordów skoczni. Oczywiście jest on w błędzie.
@Marco
I don't see your point.
You have to consider the order of the jumps during the training!
@Pawel Borkowski: The list is correct! I have seen all the results (results training, results trial round and official results). Then, i look at the jumps over 119,5 m from Coline Mattel (FRA) and i post the still higher jumps here at this site.
I am glad it is not - if it was, it would be a real mess ;-)
To Marco
Your list isn't correct. Look at the result list of official training: http://www.fis-ski.com/pdf/2014/JP/3731/2014JP3731RLT.pdf
